At the last Farmers' market I noticed 2 "new" vendors added to the market. Honolulu Gourmet Foods joins the market with their yummy organic pestos and hummus while Lina's cooks up your choice of fresh local ahi and opah fish plates or Italian sausage plates.

Don't forget to stop in to see the regulars: Farm Fresh Hawaii and their selection of fruits & vegetables from throughout the islands; Blue Lotus (kalua chicken & cabbage, chicken long rice); CJ Salsa (homemade salsa, burritos, tacos); Gourmet Island Breads (calzone vegetarian & meat sandwiches); Hawaiian Chef (poi battered fish plates); Land of Organica (organic drinks and sorbets); La Crepe Cafe (fresh veggie, fruit & meat crepes); Pacific Kool (ginger cooler, island ginger ali drinks, ginger syrups); and Stacy's Laulau (fresh and frozen laulau, pasteles, smoked fish).

Friends of the Makiki Community Library's (FMCL's) Stephanie Lake will be at this week's Farmers Market (10/22, 4:30-7:30 pm) selling used books and t-shirts. Keri Pascua will also be joining her to show people how they can "reconstruct" t-shirts for a new look. Please join us at this week's Farmers' Market and stop by FMCL's table for updates about upcoming Library events!
