DLNR in partnership with the Oahu Na Ala Hele Trails and Access Program is hosting this service day as part of the Makiki WAI (Watershed Awareness Initiative) forest restoration project. Tasks volunteers can look forward to include weeding, picking up branches, planting, watering & fertilizing native plants.
Volunteers are asked to wear long pants, long-sleeved shirt, shoes or boots, and insect repellent. Na Ala Hele will provide water, gloves & tools.
