Aloha Nicole, and many mahalos for the nice message! And thank Martin for his part in getting you up and running online.

Just a few tips...

In order to send private messages to other members of Makiki Talks you must be Friends. To become friends with someone, you send a friend request through their personal page. If the person accepts your request, then you are friends. [Frankly, we really did learn everything we need to know in kindergarten.] Click on the member's name or icon, as it is found throughout Makiki Talks, to be directed to their personal page. Under their profile picture on the left-hand column of their page, there is an option to add this person as your friend. Click, follow the instructions that come up, and the request is sent.

You can invite new members to the network, by going to the right hand side of your My Page (under the yellow t-shirt) and click Invite from Friends-Invite. There you will find the tools to send an email invite.

Hope this helps.

Welcome to Makiki Talks!
